Sandra Evelyn Seay Reeves, age 78, died on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017 in Madison.
She was born on Dec. 1, 1938 in Jacksonville, Fl. but moved to Chipley, Fl. at a very young age where she was raised and graduated from Chipley High School. She was graduated from Florida State University and married in 1959. She moved to Madison in 1968 from Tallahassee. She was a faithful member of Linda Tippette's Bible Study and Fellowship Baptist Church.
Sandra had a heart for taking care of the old and the young. Her family and friends will remember her for her infectious laugh, her love of entertaining and cooking, and her marathon Trivial Pursuit matches.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, the late Fred Tracy Reeves of Madison. She is survived by three sons: Frederick Tracy "Freddy" Reeves Jr. (Vicki) of New Port Richey, Wesley Seay "Wes" Reeves of Madison, and George Thomas "Tommy" Reeves (Kelly) of Madison; one daughter, Elizabeth Evelyn "Lyn" Reeves Hosseini (Sepehr) of Atlanta, Ga.; six grandchildren: Sidney Nicole Lindsay of Orlando, Benjamin Ethan Hosseini and Joseph Cole Hosseini both of Atlanta, Kayla Elizabeth Reeves, Abigayle Whitley Reeves and Kathryn Lane Poirrier, all of Madison.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5 at Beggs Funeral Home-Madison Chapel in Madison, Fl. with burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4 also at Beggs Funeral Home.
