Saundra L. Moore, age 71, of Ft. Lauderdale passed away on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016 at Holy Cross Hospital. Services begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19 at New Zion M.B. Church, in Greenville, Fl, with burial in the church cemetery. The viewing will be held on Friday, Nov. 18 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Tillman of Monticello, (850) 997-5553.
Born in Greenville, she was a nurse at Holy Cross for 42 years. She was also a U.S. Army reservist with 26 years of service and had served in Saudi Arabia.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Moore; daughters, Felicia and Keisha; granddaughters: Donecia, Deja and Blaire; brothers: Anthony Ray (Brenda), Kenneth (Geraldine), Joshua Jr. (JoAnn) and Henry; sisters, Minnie and Phyllis; sister-in-law, Louise Murray; brother-in-laws, Lindsey and Sam; devoted cousin, Cheryl Brown Clemons; and numerous nieces, nephews , cousins and friends. Her parents, Joshua Mabry and Ollie Dell Murray and siblings, Edith Copeland and James Murray, Jr. all predeceased her.
