The Madison County School District (MCSD) is currently seeking qualified substitute teachers for the upcoming school year. Anyone interested in being a substitute teacher is encouraged to attend the substitute teacher training being offered by the MCSD. The training is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 9 a.m., in the school board meeting room, located at 210 NE Duval Ave., in Madison.
Topics covered during the training will include classroom discipline, appearance, lessons, ethics, requirements for becoming a substitute teacher and more. The training is expected to last approximately two to three hours.
