One could almost say Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Sgt. Victoria Zeigler (AKA “Josie’s mom”) is a “self made woman.” The six-year veteran of the MCSO had the desire years ago to combine her law enforcement work with her love of animals. She began to seek classes on animal abuse investigation on her own. When the MCSO took on the responsibility of animal services, Sgt. Zeigler found her niche as the investigator for animal services.
