The Boyz to Kings Family of Madison, Fl. have been honored to serve our community in several different ways. Over the past two years, our young men as well as parents, role models and volunteers have built five mobility ramps for needy citizens through partnering with Ability First. Boyz to Kings have been in existence since 2010, in which we have graduated six 18-year-old young men who are in college, in the military, working, following their dreams and not in the legal system. Because parent involvement is mandatory, all of the youth and families have gained a lot more respect for serving others without expecting anything financial in return. This organization is not funded by a grant or any residual income from anyone, but is functioning solely off of faith, love, favor, potluck and supporters who share the vision. There was a need, and through the actions of the youth and adults, we were able to deliver a service to someone that will benefit them for a very long time, and at the end, we all said Amen. This ramp was built for Kim Adams of Madison, Fl. To find out more about the Boyz to Kings movement, feel free to contact Visionary Marvin "Merv" Mattair at lifeinhd20@gmail.com or (850) 673-1003. Peace and Ubuntu, Boyz to Kings.
