North Florida Community College (NFCC) and the Suwannee River Junior College (SRJC) Alumni Committee cordially invite SRJC alumni, friends, family and community to the Suwannee River Junior College Alumni and Friends Reunion, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15 on the NFCC Campus in Madison. The theme of the event is “Celebrating the Past and Embracing our Future.
The event will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the NFCC Student Center (Bldg. 9) with a light reception and will lead into an evening of music, fellowship, food and fun during the SRJC Reunion Banquet at 6 p.m. The cost of the event is $50 and seating is limited, so prior registration is required.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will go towards funding the SRJC scholarship offered by the NFCC Foundation.
All SRJC alumni are invited to attend to reminisce, celebrate and reconnect with classmates and friends. Community members and those with an interest in SRJC are also welcome to attend the event honoring the distinguished role that SRJC played in the history of NFCC, the Florida College System and education in our community.
The SRJC Alumni and Friends Reunion is a part of NFCC’s yearlong celebration of the 50th anniversary of SRJC’s historic merger with NFCC (then North Florida Junior College) in 1966.
Earlier this year, NFCC also honored the memory of SRJC’s first female African American President Jenyethel Merritt during the Jenyethel Merritt Award for Civic Service and Celebration Ceremony.
