Just in time for July 4th family gatherings, a Boston butt sale is planned to benefit a local family in need. Not only will this be a way of feeding guests at any Independence Day holiday gathering, it will be a great way to support a worthwhile cause. The fundraiser will benefit the family of Tracy Pickles, whose husband, Cully, passed away after a lengthy fight with several health issues, including a severe case of COVID-19.
You can purchase whole, boneless Boston butts, cooked to perfection, for just $40 each. To order, simply call Trent Abbott at (386) 288-3016. Orders will be taken until Thursday, June 29, at 5 p.m. Orders may be picked up on Friday, June 30, at Macedonia Baptist Church, located at 5539 U.S. Hwy. 90, in Lee.
