Jamie Mask has been teaching in Madison County for nine years, the past six teaching fifth grade Social Studies and sixth grade American History at Madison Creative Arts Academy. She also taught sixth grade Science and K-5 ESE at Madison County Central School for two years.
Before she started teaching, Mask worked at the Florida Department of Health for seven years. She went to University of West Florida and received her degree in elementary education and exceptional student education.
Mask is originally from Quincy, Fla. Her favorite part of teaching is sharing information with her students and watching them make connections. “I love watching their progress over the year.”
Mask and her husband, Matthew, have been married for 16 years and have three children: Leah, Natalee and Gabe. In her free time, Mask likes to read and watch true crime documentaries.
