Saying “thank you” is an expression of learned behavior. It is a
valid attribute of culture that reaches beyond race, religion, and
creed. Saying “thank you” goes beyond showing appreciation for
being a recipient of something; it is a universal language of
gratitude, which has become a less visible trait of our humanity.
Leadership experts and scientists have shown that these two
words, “thank you,” can transform our health and happiness,
motivate our performance and aid our success. They further explain-
grateful people are happier and more likely to maintain good
friendships. Saying “thank you” reduces stress, improves our sleep
and eliminates negative feelings that leave us drained and depleted.
Gratitude and appreciation are also essential for a healthy work
environment. The first reason people leave their jobs is the lack of
appreciation. A simple “thank you” and a show of appreciation can
make all the difference not only in the world but in the lives of those
we encounter daily. The necessity of practicing showing gratitude
aids in fostering a culture of appreciation for those around us and
enables all of us to live out a sweeter, kinder humanity.
On behalf of J. P. Moore Mortuary and Cremation Services, I
would like to express my gratitude to the local Police Department
and Sheriff’s Department for their consistent and time-honored
tradition of providing escort services during the most challenging
times in a family’s life. Sheriff David Harper, and Police Chief
Reggie Alexander, your departments assist us in our professional
end-of-life service with dignity and honor through your presence and
professionalism.
As litigious as our society often appears, and with the teetering
perception some people have for law enforcement, we are thankful
for the genuine and caring support we receive from the law
enforcement agencies of Madison County. Your participation and
desire to share in the seriousness of burying a loved one has not gone
nor will it ever go unnoticed.
With love and appreciation, THANK YOU!
