The Pot Williams Golf Tournament has remained a lasting tradition in Madison County for many years. It brings together friends, old and new, and allows for a weekend of great fun, fellowship and good old fashioned competition. The 58th Annual Pot Williams Tournament will be held Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2. It is an individual player tournament. There will be six to eight flights and awards for each flight-- in fact, there is up to $4,000 available in prizes. Even better, Timberland Ford is awarding the first person to make a hole in one, on hole #9, a Super Duty F-250 pick-up truck! The tournament will have morning and afternoon tee times; all ages are welcome; there will even be a senior division. On Friday night at 6:30 p.m., there will be a “bring your own steak” cookout, complete with plenty of good fellowship. Then, on Saturday night, a formal prime rib dinner will be held and attendees will not only enjoy good food and fellowship, but a special performance by the Baby Gray Band. Make sure you hurry and sign up! Spots are filling up fast, as the event is quickly approaching! Or, if you simply want to come out and watch the tournament, you are more than welcome to. The Madison Country Club's new deck overlooks the 9th and 18th holes and is the ideal place to kick back, enjoy the beautiful scenery and watch the tournament's action.
