On Friday, Sept. 6, at 9 a.m., the Madison County Chamber of Commerce held a grand opening for The Station RV Resort, located at 343 SE Balboa Dr., in Madison.
Jamie Coleman, the owner of The Station RV, has been in the RV Park business for several years, owning a park in North Carolina. It took Coleman around two years to build The Station. The concept for The Station RV started during the COVID-19 pandemic. Coleman planned out the details, and explored different RV parks to decide what amenities his RV park should have.
The Station RV Resort offers three wheelchair accessible washrooms, a laundry room, gym, pool, bocce ball, tennis/pickleball court, dog park, cornhole, The Filling Station, fire pit, a dog wash station, dump station; etc. The Station RV Resort offers pull thru RV, overnight and tent sites with max amp service and full hookups. The RV sites offer a concrete RV pad, 20/30/50 am service, WiFi, 10x12 concrete patio, full hook up and valet trash services.
Rates for staying at The Station RV Resort vary based on how long your stay is. Currently, The Station offers a Snowbird Rate of $950 a month with power, water and access to all the amenities the resort has to offer. They also offer monthly and weekly rates with varying prices.
