Built in 1884, the imposing structure of the Wasden-Snow House sits two stories high. For years, it was adorned with peeling white paint, boarded-up windows and broken shutters. Bricks that served as the foundation of a long-gone porch still rest in the dirt. Recently, efforts have been made to restore the house, as is evidenced by a new roof and fresh paint. The house looms next to the highway, surrounded by farmland, greeting both those entering
