Thomas Jeffrey Frevert, 62, of Madison, Fl., passed on unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 4, 2016.
Tom was born in Plainfield, NJ. He grew up and lived in North Palm Beach and Miami, Fl. until he moved to Madison, Fl. in 2006 with his wife, Sharrie. They lived next to Sharrie’s parents where Tom experienced the joys of country living as one of the family. These were truly some of the best years of his life.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Jean and James Frevert. He is survived by his brother, Doug Frevert (wife Lin), of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl.; sister, Kim Harrington, of Orlando, Fl.; and his Madison family including his mother-in-law, Cheryl; father-in-law, Rick Richarte “Popi”; Sharrie’s siblings: Lynda Jansch (husband Randy), Harvey Moore, and Melody Foust, along with numerous nieces and nephews who all loved Uncle Tom.
Tom had a sweet, happy, gentle spirit. He was a loving, attentive husband to Sharrie, a buddy and right-hand man to Popi, and a helper to Cheryl and the whole Madison family. He often volunteered at a local charity thrift store for Methodist ministries. Tom was an avid Miami Dolphins fan who gave up his season tickets to join his Madison family. As much as he loved the country life, he took time to create many travel memories with his parents and siblings.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at Greenville Baptist Church, located at 1365 SW Main Street at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seagull Services (a non-profit agency that assists those with intellectual and other developmental disabilities), 3879 Byron Drive, West Palm Beach, Fl. 33404 or the United Methodist Cooperative Ministries “UMCM” 135 NE Dill Street, Madison, Fl. 32340.
