Islam is NOT for peace. Islam is a political effort, NOT a religious effort (it’s draped in religion). The real problem though is not this….. because they have a right to do and be whatever they want. The REAL problem is that people allow this in their homeland and then expect not to be bombed and murdered unless they convert. So it is with all other political forces seeking to take down America. I call these, enemies domestic. So, what should be our stance against the political forces at work that seek to destabilize and even destroy our way of life? Fundamental and uncomfortable questions are going unanswered. I talk to a lot of folks, and I learn so much…. I am also respectful of 1 John 4:1 “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” Some people will say my directive in using this scripture shows that I am “judging”. I say, absolutely if that’s what testing every spirit means. I love our Constitution and Bill of Rights (especially), and I recognize that there are true domestic enemies, such as the “socialist communists'” efforts, and demands of Islam that seek to alter our blessed country. Propaganda and persuasions toward multi-culturalism pressure us to accept all differences, but not to accept an individual’s independence. These movements are massacred as generous and sincere in the name of multi-culturalism and such. But, motivations behind these movements, government programs, etc..demand you become inter-dependent and give up progressively more and more of your freedoms to be seen as a good “global citizen”. When I hear a request to give up independence and “unite” to solve the problems in the middle east, one needs to ask, “Just what does that mean”. I thought about what our veterans, like my dad fought for. Freedom, right? Individual liberties, right? Individual liberty is the opposite of being forced to submit and unite with others. Personal liberty is the choice to remain free and not be “subjects” of another! Or, to become united in a cause for a period of time if it does not conflict with other priorities of YOUR choosing. I may get looks of disdain by those of differing political forces, such as socialist communists when I don’t comply, I do not care if someone is offended because I proactively choose to remain independent. My independence and freedom is something I choose to cherish. I choose to not sacrifice my children to take care of someone else’s children somewhere else on the globe. In fact, I now require that people ask my permission before assuming they can dump the world’s problems at my door. I’m not heartless, I’m just not willing to share in others’ burdens without first determining if I want to pay the price I’m asked to pay. (There are so many other issues of course that can be discussed, like corporate interests that have orchestrated wars; and, that the real goal of “care” movements is to rally people for mob rule and control the masses and not necessarily to give aid and comfort.) Individual liberty is not a price I am willing to pay to participate in solving others’ problems. Individual liberty MUST rule the day. There should never be a paradigm (unless it’s a unique extreme event) where the “benefit to society” rules over your individual liberties! Nor the interests of an “animal” over you! Nor being “politically correct” over you! Why? because You are God’s special and separate creation, and we must remember that America is ALL ABOUT Independence and religious freedoms, lest we forget! So a person is not welcome here, in my homeland of America if they don’t want you or me to remain independent. You would hope that every American would not welcome them here! Other socialist communist countries would love to have those type of people. . So how do we carry on? 1st Corinthians 1:27-29 “For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are so that no man may boast before God.…” Finally, we must remember that we are not promised a smooth path: 2nd Timothy 3.. “But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith. But they will not make further * progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as Jannes’s and Jambres’s folly was also. Now you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance, persecutions, and sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord rescued me! Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them.” So, I will “continue in the things (I) have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom (I) have learned them” ; and, I will not parley with just anyone because I know that some are “always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” I will ask the fundamental and uncomfortable questions because my survival depends upon it. And one questions would be, "Madison County Leaders, are you ready to deny the placement of Islamist Immigrants by the federal government without the consent of the local people? It's not like they are American citizens and have the right to buy land and move here freely! Nancy Moral, M.Ed.
