Madison County is welcoming Tillman Funeral home, ~ a Hall-Moore Provider, back to town. Tillman Funeral Home, ~ a Hall-Moore Provider, was previously the first black-owned and operated funeral service provider in the county, serving in the 1960's before going on a lengthy hiatus after the death of their founder. However, Jamarien "JP" Moore (mortician) has given Tillman Funeral home, ~ a Hall-Moore Provider, a chance to make a comeback and intends to make their services better than ever before.
Moore is 28 years old and has been involved with funeral homes since he was a kid. He has accumulated about 18 years of experience and has achieved significant success in the funeral home business. He is grateful to his family for supporting his goals and dreams every step of the way. As a matter of fact, Tillman Funeral Home of Madison, ~ a Hall-Moore Provider, is family-owned and operated.
Moore expressed immense gratitude to Al Hall, owner of the Tillman Funeral Home locations in Monticello and Tallahassee, for providing him with the opportunity to bring their services back to Madison. Moore has a vision for Madison County and will stop at nothing to make it happen. "Our goal is to bring services for everybody back to the community, regardless of financial situations," said Moore. "We want to honor the lives of those who have passed."
Moore has a passion for helping people during some of the hardest parts of their lives and cares deeply about the members of the community. He hopes to provide affordable services for Madison County and make grieving less taxing on the loved ones of those who have passed. "I believe the best is yet to come," said Moore. "I have an enormous amount of love for people and want to treat everyone equally, regardless of background or financial situations."
Moore expressed a care for educating the community on end of life preparations and funeral services. He explained that there are several routes to take to ensure preparedness for the sunset of life. These preparations include life insurance, wills and planning. Moore often states that his goal is to "Spread Sunshine at the Sunset of Life."
Tillman Funeral Home of Madison, ~ a Hall-Moore Provider, focuses on more than just end of life preparations and funerals. They care deeply for the community and plan to consistently support a variety of causes, such as: veterans, churches, food pantries, local non-profit organizations, the education system, holiday blessings and more. Moore stated, "Madison has loved me since I was a kid and now it's my turn to spread the love back."
Tillman Funeral Home of Madison, is run by Hall-Moore Funeral Directors, LLC. The owners are people of faith, who strive to serve the Lord in everything they do. "We are faith people," said Moore. "We choose to walk by faith and not by sight."
