Recently, Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart wanted to impact the success of the Toys for Tots (TFT) program. He supported sending employee Tammy Webb to liaison training for (TFT). The TFT training was held in Quantico, Va. and it assisted Webb with organizing and preparing holiday gift packages for Madison families. Webb and Kim Brandies, Vice-President of Madison County Community Bank, worked painstakingly hard to ensure that 45 Madison families would have presents under the Christmas tree.
Brandies and Webb assembled 45 holiday bags for Madison families. Each bag contained eight individual children’s toys plus a board game, puzzle and an art kit for the family to enjoy together. “It was important to include games that the entire family could take pleasure in together,” Brandies explained. “The family games, puzzles and art kits are provided in an effort to promote family activities.”
Let us applaud the efforts of Ben Stewart, Ed Meggs and Tim Bennett for sponsoring the program as former and retired Marines. Special appreciation for the tireless efforts to make this program a success goes to Tammy Webb and Kim Brandies.
