Hampton-Mattair advised of chest and neck pains and was transported, along with her passenger, to Madison County Memorial Hospital by Madison County EMS. Thompson did not advise of any pain but was hemorrhaging from the head area. Thompson was incoherent to basic questions, such as the day of the week or the current year. Thompson was transported to South Georgia Medical Center, in Valdosta, by Madison County EMS.
Thompson was found to be at fault. MPD was assisted at the scene by Madison County EMS and Madison Fire Rescue.
