St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, located at 140 NE Horry Ave., in Madison, will be offering the Stations of the Cross from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., prior to Easter services at Four Freedoms Park, in Madison.
A Good Friday gathering will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church, located at 1997 NE Colin Kelly Hwy., in Madison. Supper will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. There will be food, fellowship and communion, with childcare provided. Children interested in participating in an Easter egg hunt will need to bring 12 plastic eggs, each filled with goodies and a basket by Wednesday, April 16. The Easter egg hunt will be split by three groups of children: nursery through PreK, Kindergarten through second grade and third through fifth grade.

The Edge of Town, located at 8289 E US Hwy. 90, in Lee, will be holding an Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. There will be over 1,500 eggs hidden with treats. This hunt is for all ages. The Easter Bunny will also eat lunch and have photo ops with any interested participants. The Edge of Town will also offer $2 ice cream cones for children. The Edge of Town encourages you to bring your own baskets.
CrossPointe Madison’s Fourth Annual Community-Wide Easter Egg Hunt is being held at the Four Freedoms Park, in Madison, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. There will be over 5,000 eggs hidden for children of all ages to find, with prizes involved as well. There will also be train rides, a bounce house, a slide, a fire truck, a petting zoo, cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn, hot dogs and many other fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. CrossPointe Madison will also hold a story time and share the Story of Easter.
Join Team Dad at Sumpter James Park, located at SW Third Ave., in Madison, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. for their second annual Spring Time Egg-Stravaganza. At this event, you will be able to take pictures with the Easter bunny, hunt Easter eggs, enjoy food and many games will be offered. Anyone is invited to this event.

St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church, located at 5905 NW Lovett Rd., in Greenville, is holding their Easter Sunday services starting at 7 a.m. at King Mill Cabin, located at 288 NW Whispering Pines Loop, in Madison. A light breakfast will be served following the 7 a.m. service. St. John’s will also offer a 10:30 a.m. service at St. John’s, with a dinner and Easter egg hunt following the worship.
First Baptist Church, located at 134 SW Meeting Ave., in Madison, will host a 7 a.m. sunrise service on the east steps of their main sanctuary, it is encouraged to bring a chair with you. At 8 a.m., they will hold a breakfast. Then, at 9:15 a.m., First Baptist will have an Easter Worship Celebration, with their kids’ choir performing during the celebration. There will be a final Easter Worship Celebration at 11 a.m.
There will be a joint sunrise service at Lake Brittany, located at 286 NE CR 255, in Lee, with Midway Baptist Church, Lee First Baptist Church, Hickory Grove Methodist Church and Macedonia Baptist Church at 7 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
Harmony Baptist Church, located at 266 NW Harmony Church Way, in Greenville, will be holding a sunrise Easter service at 7 a.m.
Hickory Grove Methodist Church, located at 1218 NE Hickory Grove Rd., in Pinetta, is holding a sunrise service at 7 a.m. Members of the congregation are encouraged to bring an Easter lily to place on the alter. At 11 a.m., the Easter service will be held. After the service, there will be an egg hunt and a covered dish luncheon.

At 10 a.m., Cherry Lake First Baptist Church, located at 1308 County Rd. 150, in Madison, will be holding Sunday school and then followed with morning worship at 11 a.m. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated during the morning worship service.
Mount Olive Baptist Church, located at 5022 FL-53, in Madison, will be holding an Easter service at 11 a.m. Following the service, Mount Olive will hold an Easter egg hunt and lunch.

Lee First Baptist Church, located at 8157 E U.S. Hwy 90, in Lee, will hold their regular morning service at 11 a.m. There will be no evening service.
CrossPointe Madison’s first Easter Sunday service will be held at 9:30 a.m. with Discovery Pointe for kids from zero years old through fifth grade. Their Family Service will be held at 11:15 a.m. There will be childcare available for children zero through three years old. CrossPointe Madison will also hold an ASL Service for the hearing impaired during their 11:15 a.m. service.
There will be a community-wide Easter egg hunt from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., at Lanier Field, in Madison. In addition to over 1,000 eggs filled with cash and prizes for kids and adults to find, there will also be a bounce house, a live DJ, a bull riding contest, a spades tournament and more. There will be separate Easter egg hunts for kids and adults, with cash and prizes available in each. Vendors are also welcome, but must register ahead of time.
