Vehicles collide on Base Street

Mickey Starling  reporter3@greenepublishing.com According to a Madison Police Department report, on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 10:40 a.m., a Dodge Ram truck, driven by Daniel Strickland, of Madison, made a premature left turn onto Lawson Avenue. This resulted in a collision with a GMC pickup driven by Donald Dwight Wells, of Dothan, Ala. Wells was traveling east on West Base Street and was unable to avoid the crash.  Both vehicles were disabled as a result of the accident, but no injuries w
