The Madison County Christian Ministerial Association (MCCMA) needs volunteers to read the Bible at the gazebo at Four Freedoms Park, (across from the Madison County Courthouse) between April 30 and May 4.
Volunteers will read the Bible, in 15-minute shifts, working 24/7 throughout the entire week leading up to the National Day of Prayer, on May 4. The goal is to read through the entire bible, old and new testaments, during the week.
The readings are scheduled to begin Sunday, April 30, at 6 p.m. and will conclude with prayer at noon on Thursday, May 4.
Everyone is invited to join in the public prayer, as part of the National Day of Prayer.
If you are interested in volunteering 15 minutes (or more) of your time to read God’s word, please contact Paul Rudloff (who is coordinating the readers’ schedule) at (850) 274-4601 (call or text), (813) 786-5205, or you can sign up online at bible2017@embarqmail.com.
“This is a community effort, and we need your help,” stated Rudloff.
