Warren Ernest Wyrostek, 67, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fla. with his family by his side, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s. Warren was born on Sept. 20, 1953 in Queens, N.Y. to Ernest Herman Wyrostek and Marian Gladys Reid Wyrostek. He was an educator who loved teaching others and seeing them succeed in life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Marian Wyrostek, of Pinetta, Fla.; and his sister, Marian Coulsting.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Yvonne Fletcher; his step-son, Jason Fletcher (Leslie); his step-daughter, Lori Lacy (Clay); step-grandchildren: Madi Fletcher, Everly Fletcher, Michael Anglin (Maddy) and Ashley Anglin; and step-great grandchild, Emmerson Anglin. He is also survived by his nephew, Robbie Coulsting; and niece Marian Kahlke.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the 1898 Sanctuary First Baptist Church, in Madison. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Madison.
