Watch out for clear slime in your pet’s water bowl

Leah Androski reporter@greenepublishing.com Have you ever rubbed your fingers on the inside of your pet’s water bowl and felt a slippery slime? That slippery slime is called biofilm.  Biofilm is a collection of organic and inorganic, living and dead materials collected on the surface. This is made up of many different types of bacteria bound together in a thick substance that is like a glue, which holds the bacteria together and makes it stick to a surface.  The smell is offensiv
