Tax Collector Pat Millinor of this county was chosen vice-president and chairman of the steering committee at the Florida Tax Collector’s Association meeting this week in Jacksonville. There will be a Stewardship Revival at Midway Baptist Church of Lee, Fla. Beginning Sunday March 1st through 8th. Services will begin every night at 7:30 o’clock. Preaching by Rev W L Price. You are invited to attend. Mrs. John M Cherry entertained with a children’s party Wednesday afternoon honoring her son Johnny on the event of his sixth birthday. Fifty-five children enjoyed the occasion with Johnny. Sgt. William C Medders, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Medders of Madison, Fla. is on emergency duty in The Netherlands with the U. S. Army’s flood relief expedition.

Alden and Ettore will be presented in joint recital at MHS auditorium March 4 at 8:15, under sponsorship of Madison Concert Series. Miss Helen Glenn Pinson, whose marriage to Gerald Bland will be solemnized Sunday, Feb. 28th in the Presbyterian Church, was the inspiration for a miscellaneous shower given Monday evening by Mrs. J R Brown, Mrs. Beasley Cole and Miss Marilyn Cole will be an attendant in the wedding. The Madison FFA Chapter Beef Judging team attended the West Florida Live Stock Show at Quincy Feb. 17th. Pete Cruce of our team took high individual honor with 283 points out of a perfect 300 score. The team won 5th place. The senior class of Greenville High School enjoyed a party in the Vocational Building, Monday evening. Several games were played before delicious refreshments were served.
