The Woman's Club sponsored a benefit party Wednesday afternoon which netted $27.80 for the Polio March of Dimes.

Madison High School's basketball team made it ten victories in a row last Friday night when they overcame Greenville, 74-44. Donny Floyd led the point winners with 21 for Madison.

President Lewis Tucker welcomed Chuck Bassett as a new member of the Madison Rotary Club. Mr. and Mrs. Bassett, who purchased the Dial-Goza home on N. Range Street are among Madison's busiest retirees. They have recently bought Heirs Cleaners and are operating it.

Princess' Nursery School on S. Range Street, in Madison, welcomed Miss Carroll Ryals, who teaches the 3-5 year old group. Miss Ryals has her B.S. degree in elementary education.
