Mrs. Willow Dean Tuten, 88, passed away April 22, 2020, in Madison, Fla. She was born in Grady County, Ga. on April 9, 1932, to Pliney C. Bryant and Eva Mae Butler Tuten.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, James Owen Tuten. They were married for 45 years.
Willow Dean was employed by Madison House Furniture for over 20 years, and then worked at Earnhardt & Sons Upholstery Company for many years until she retired.
Mrs. Tuten loved her church, the Church of Christ in Madison, Fla. She loved flowers, gardening and animals. She also loved having many large peanut boils and large chicken perleau dinners at her home. She really enjoyed going to Winn- Dixie. Mrs. Tuten loved hugs and kisses.
She is survived by one daughter, Daphne (Arthur) Worley of Greenville, Fla.; three sons: J. P. (Janet), of Greenville; Sammy (Robbie) Tuten, of Panama City, Fla., and Dean (Fran) Tuten, of Greenville; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 25, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, Fla. Rev. Ted Brooks officiated.
